I love my bike because it gets me to where I want to go. The reason I am writing this 200 word (or less) essay is so I have a chance to win a new bike to love, fix-up, ride and go on adventures with. I need a new bike because my mother lost her car in an accident and the only way I can get around is by bike. When I am upset and need to get out of the house, riding makes me feel better. It makes me happy! I enjoy working on my bike and am good at it. One day, I hope to own my own bike shop. My current bike is an old Huffy. It has no front gear shifters and a Next fork on it. A couple of months ago, I didn’t have any brakes and had to use my steel toed boots to stop. I fixed it with the help of my teacher, Mr. Oakes. My teacher is a professional mountain biker and got me into the sport. Well…that is why I love my bike!
